She has been involved in Hollywood for a number of decades, and her resume is certainly impressive. She has achieved considerable success playing characters like Cruella de Vil in Disney’s “101 Dalmatians,” Alex Forrest in “Fatal Attraction,” and Jenny Fields in “The World According to Garp.”
This has been demonstrated, not the least by the numerous honours she has received and been considered for.
The actress recently had the opportunity to walk the red carpet once more when she went to the Governors Awards in Los Angeles.
The Governors Awards are a precursor to the Oscars ceremony when celebrities are recognised for their notable and enduring achievements to the motion picture industry.
There, she gave the director Carol Littleton, with whom she had collaborated on “The Big Chill” in 1983, an award.
She has already declared that she will not allow getting older to change the way she lives.
“I’m 75, and I look out in the world and I feel like I’m looking out in the world with the energy of somebody in their 20s,” she said. “And that’s who I am.”
