Every performer dreams of performing in big places, in front of a friendly crowd, and having the chance to be seen by people all over the world.
But it’s not easy to gather the courage to do this. Many people won’t even try, and even if they do, there’s no guarantee they’ll succeed.
Luckily, a small children’s choir that sang in front of Simon Cowell and the other judges didn’t have these problems. Despite their unusual appearance, the elementary school kids gave a performance they will always remember.
Queen’s song “Don’t Stop Me Now” is undeniably powerful. It’s one of the most exciting songs of the 20th century, if not the greatest. The song perfectly shows off Freddie Mercury’s amazing singing ability and captivates anyone who hears it.
But singing it is not easy.
However, the kids weren’t discouraged by this. They went on stage with a lot of excitement, and the judges and the audience laughed when they sang the famous song.
What’s even more impressive is that these kids didn’t seem nervous or worried, which is already a big achievement considering their situation. Instead, each one of them played their part confidently and enthusiastically.
Their performance was so good that it got them harsh criticism from Simon Cowell and a special “Golden Buzzer” from judge David Williams. They were the first to get the “Golden Buzzer” on Britain’s Got Talent in 2018, and that was a big deal for them.
