“Heartwarming Gesture of Six Siblings”: Growing Hair to Help Others in Honor of Their Friend

The best way to make the world better is by teaching our children to be kind. When we care about each other, things get better.

There were six siblings in New York: one was 10 years old, two were twins, and three were triplets. They had a very close friend who got very sick with cancer and sadly, he passed away. While he was sick, he lost his hair because of the treatments. This made the siblings really sad. When they found out their friend had passed away, they decided to grow their hair long to help other people with cancer, just like their friend.

They kept their plan a secret, not even telling their mom why they didn’t want to cut their hair. But as their hair got longer, some kids at school started making fun of them. They called them names and said they looked like girls. But the siblings didn’t let that bother them because they knew they were doing something important.

When the time came to donate their hair, they had collected 17 feet of hair altogether. That’s pretty amazing!

It’s really nice to see such young kids being so kind and caring. If you want to learn more about their story, you can watch the video below and be sure to share it with your family and friends on Facebook.
