A US couple called Jared and Christy was at the airport in late September, completing the procedure of checking in for a flight. They were going to Las Vegas to unwind for a couple of days. But when they faced a surprise at the check-in desk, their plans took an unanticipated turn.
When Jared and Christy put their baggage on the scale, they were shocked to see that it weighed more than they had intended. They had made sure their bag was under the permitted weight limit before leaving the house, so this was unexpected. They were horrified to see their beloved dog, Icky, a stowaway, inside the bag when they opened it.
“When you’re getting ready for a long-awaited vacation, only to open your suitcase at the airport and find your dog inside,” said Jared, “it’s quite the unexpected twist.” Known for his love of lurking in small places, Icky had snuck into the suitcase before the trip without his owners’ knowledge.
