This organization trains flight attendants to identify signs of human trafficking and collaborates with law enforcement agencies, such as the US Customs and Border Police, to combat this heinous crime.
Shelia emphasizes the importance of being vigilant and aware of the signs. Her brave actions have not only saved lives but have also led to her involvement in training programs that enable her to make a difference in future situations.
The shocking reality is that approximately 1.2 million children fall victim to trafficking each year. Boys and girls alike are subjected to forced labor, sexual exploitation, and even recruitment as child soldiers. These horrifying crimes against humanity must be stopped.
