Mia Khalifa Fired From New Job For ‘One Single Tweet’

Mia Khalifa has been fired from her new job following backlash for a tweet that she shared on Twitter, now known as X.

Khalifa dominated the adult film industry throughout 2014, and even though she was only active there for a brief period of time, her influence was profound.

As some may already know, Khalifa soared in the ranks on several adult film sites and very quickly became one of the most viewed performers in the world.

In a recent episode of Steven Bartlett’s podcast Diary Of A CEO, the former adult actress admitted that her decision to enter the industry was motivated by an “abusive” relationship she had while she was in her late teens.

According to Mia, her former spouse, who was serving in the US Army at the time, introduced her to the world of adult films and pushed her to get involved in them. She revealed he had been grooming her and using her as a “toy to play with,” as she now defines the relationship as extremely unhealthy.

Khalifa’s family later disowned her despite the fact that she had only been in the industry for a short time, and she is now conscious of the fact that “some mistakes aren’t forgivable” as she goes about her daily life.

Over the last few years, Khalifa has become a social media star, giving advice to her fans on a variety of topics, and her recent post about relationships, has left some pretty annoyed.

In 2011, Khalifa wed her first partner, her high school sweetheart.

Just a few years later, the couple made the decision to part ways, and she eventually got married to Robert Sandberg, a chef.

Before divorcing in 2020, Khalifa and Sandberg dated for barely one year. She then got engaged once more but cancelled the engagement before the wedding.

“Married at 18. Divorced at 21. Second marriage. Married at 25. Divorced at 28. Third engagement.

“Engaged at 29. Ended it at 30, but I kept the ring. I’m still keeping Tom Brady on his toes,” Khalifa said.

“We are not stuck with these people,” Khalifa said. “Marriage is not a sanctimonious thing. It is paperwork. It is a commitment you make to someone, but if you feel like you’re not getting anything from that commitment and you’re trying, you got to go. You got to go. You have to go.

“I know it’s difficult to fill out paperwork, and to make appointments and to do all of these things, but this your f**king life, you want to be stuck with someone?”

So, it’s fair to say that Khalifa is known for being outspoken.

However, her most recent post to Twitter, now X, has caused so much of a commotion that she has been fired from her new job.

The star, who hails from Lebanon, shared posts in which she expressed her support for Palestine.

“Can someone please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones and film horizontal,” she wrote in one post.

“I can’t believe the Zionist apartheid regime is being brought down by guerrilla fighters in fake Gucci shirts – the biopics of these moments better reflect that,” she wrote in another.

It comes after Israel faced a deadly attack by Hamas. After breaching the Gaza border, the militant group targeted civilians, leaving over 800 Israelis dead so far, per Al Jazeera.

The Israeli military responded to Hamas’ attack by showering the Gaza strip with airstrikes and promising “a complete siege” on the Hamas-run enclave. Thousands have been injured as a result, with over 500 Palestinians having been killed.

Khalifa’s comments about groups in the region have found her in hot water with the CEO of Red Light Holland, who she has worked for as an advisor since earlier this year, per UNILAD.

The company’s CEO Todd Shapiro quote tweeted one of Khalifa’s posts to express his disgust at her comments.

“This is such a horrendous tweet,” he began, tagging Khalifa.

“Consider yourself fired effective immediately. Simply disgusting. Beyond disgusting,” he continued.

“Please evolve and become a better human being. The fact you are condoning death, r*pe, beatings and hostage taking is truly gross. No words can explain your ignorance.

“We need humans to come together, especially in the face of tragedy. I pray for you to become a better person. However, it clearly seems like it’s too late for you.”

Khalifa hit back, writing: “I’d say supporting Palestine has lost me business opportunities, but I’m more angry at myself for not checking whether or not I was entering into business with Zionists. My bad.”

In a separate post, she put: “That’s the most press you’ll ever get out of me for your s****y little company you quite literally couldn’t pay me to post about it publicly before because I thought it was so bad. It’s FREE PALESTINE until Palestine is FREE.”

In a further tweet, she clarified her comments: “I just want to make it clear that this statement in no way shape or form is enticing spread of violence, I specifically said freedom fighters because that’s what the Palestinian citizens are… fighting for freedom every day.”
