A 30-year-old woman has claimed she has fallen in love with her 63-year-old boyfriend after she had initially planned to milk him for all his money.
Finding love can be a minefield at the best of times, particularly as many people turn to dating apps rather than real-life interactions.
Meeting the perfect partner that you want to spend your life with – and ensuring they have the best intentions when entering into the relationship – isn’t always easy.
However, Carrie, 30, claims she fell for Randy, 63, after initially planning to “milk him dry and peace out” once he stopped spending his money on her.
Carrie first met Randy three years ago after putting up the age limit to the maximum on her Tinder account and swiping right on his profile.
The then-27-year-old was attracted to the fact he appeared to be wealthy as he was on vacation a lot, and had initially believed their relationship would be more of a “business transaction” than real love.
Carrie and Randy shared their story on Love Don’t Judge, as she explained: “Randy and I met on Tinder in 2019. I just swiped up to the age, I just made it go the whole way up.”
She admitted: “My first intentions when I met Randy was to basically milk him dry. I wanted to get from him what I could and peace out.”
Randy, who has worked in sales for 30 years, revealed that Carrie would send him a message every now and then asking him to “help her out” with money.
After a while of him giving her cash, she revealed that she disappeared in order to work on herself and get a proper job to bring in some income.
He reached back out to check if she was okay after not having heard from her, and she told him that she had been busy with her job and was having to walk to and from her place of employment as she couldn’t afford a car.
Randy told her he would buy her a car to allow her to get back and forth from her “graveyard shifts” safely after finding out she was having to walk home in the dark, and proceeded to gift her a BMW.
The couple, who have a 33-year age gap, finally decided to meet in person after a year of talking, with Carrie agreeing to it as her life was “getting better” since Randy had been helping her.
She added: “I felt sorry that I was kind of neglecting him and his feelings when he was doing so much for me.”
Carrie revealed that she’d never dated an older man before and didn’t know if he was “safe”, to which Randy joked that she’d always thought he was going to “kill her”.
Describing the moment she fell in love with Randy, Carrie said: “I realized that I had feelings for Randy when he sat me down one day and said: ‘Make a list of all your problems and we’ll check them off one by one. And probably a week later he said to me: ‘If you give me a year, I’ll change your life.’”
Carrie admitted: “People typically assume that I’m a golddigger or I have daddy issues. People stare, sometimes I catch them pointing. I’ve seen them make fun of us, or me especially.”
Randy doesn’t think Carrie is using him for his money any more, as he claims to have “seen the change in the way she treats [him]” compared to how she was in the beginning.
Carrie added that the relationship is not just about Randy’s money anymore, explaining: “When you fall in love with somebody, you appreciate them for what they are and not what they have.”
She shared that despite some people assuming Randy is her dad when they are out on dates together, she doesn’t always bother to correct them so as not to embarrass the other person.
Since getting together with Randy, Carrie is now a “stay-at-home girlfriend” and has started an OnlyFans account to make her own money.
