The self-described waffle enthusiast, admitted to just finishing the jug of Aunt Jemima syrup despite it expiring in 2020, but to her that was besides the point. She was certain the new bottle of Pearl Milling syrup that was supposed to taste the same was off.
“Something was lost in translation when she became her,” she said while pointing to the Pearl Milling bottle.
“10 calorie difference in serving size. Aunt Jemima 60 ML, 210 calories. Pearl 30 ML serving size, a hundred calories. So she’s a liar and a thief.”
“Free my Aunt Mima!”

Many in the comments agreed with her.
“Aunt Jemima took the flavor with her when she was replaced,” one TikTok user wrote.
Someone else went as far as to say Mrs. Butterworth was “better” than the newly rebranded Aunt Jemima syrup.
